Solar Miner VI, Missouri S&T's latest solar-powered car, will be unveiled after the parade at 3 p.m. (Saturday, March 15) in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall. Missouri S&T will try to regain its title as world champions during the 2008 American Solar Challenge later this year.

Also, Missouri S&T's Solar Village will be open for tours on Saturday, March 15, from noon to 2 p.m. Three houses built for previous Solar Decathlons are currently on foundations in the village, which is located across the street from the multi-purpose building and athletic facilities. Students will soon start construction on a fourth solar home.
